Berkeley MLK Breakfast 2020

We welcome you to join the Berkeley Democratic Club as we Co-Sponsor Berkeley faith organizations, community groups, elected leaders and residents in celebrating the life and legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. at the 9th Annual MLK Jr. Breakfast.
There will be musical performances, inspiring speeches, and awards given out to local organizations working toward a more economically just future. We will also honor 3 local students who are working for social change in our community.

Started in 2012 by a diverse group of East Bay citizens to both celebrate and continue the work of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., this annual event has grown into an exuberant gathering that captures the spirit of the joyful society that Dr. King championed and envisioned. Each year, hundreds of community members gather to start this day celebrating Dr. King with conversation, breakfast, speeches, songs, and tributes.
The Berkeley Democratic Club schedule of local political events may be of particular interest or civic importance for our membership, but does not indicate sponsorship or any other endorsement by the Berkeley Democratic Club. We hope it can foster a more engaged, interconnected, and informed community.
